We use a variety of composite Resins to fill cavities and esthetically enhance the appearance of teeth. Resin Composite has many advantages over traditional Silver fillings besides being tooth colored.

Resin will chemically bond to the natural tooth structure and requires less tooth structure to be removed when placed. Silver Amalgam can stain teeth and gum tissue and is linked, in some studies, to toxicity with potential health concerns. Fillings, often times, can be placed initially into a tooth when a cavity forms. The Composite resin is light cured and sets instantaneously when cured with a special light. You are able to eat and drink upon leaving the dental office!
