Initial Comprehensive Exam and Cleaning

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal evaluation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for evaluation of the structure of the entire oral cavity as well as the appropriate individual tooth x-rays. We complete a thorough examination of the Oral cavity, screen for Oral Cancer, analyze the TMJ, and screen for other medical conditions such as Sleep Apnea. You may witness individual photographs taken of your teeth at this appointment as well. This helps us monitor, track, and explain potential problems with an individual tooth or condition.
