Dr. Max Wahoske, DMD

Dr. Max Wahoske and the team at Twin Buttes Dental are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. From our friendly staff to Dr. Wahoske’s approachable chairside manner, our goal is to make every patient feel at ease and ensure each visit is a positive experience.

Dr. Wahoske has been practicing dentistry since 2021. He grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2012 before completing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University in 2015. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2021.

Following dental school, Dr. Wahoske moved to Farmington, New Mexico, where he spent five years providing dental care to the Four Corners community. He and his wife, Perla, are excited to call Durango home and look forward to serving the community through Twin Buttes Dental.

Dr. Wahoske is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and pursues continuing education each year to stay current with advances in dentistry and further enhance the care he provides to his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Wahoske enjoys taking advantage of Southwest Colorado’s beautiful outdoors. During the winter, he and Perla can often be found skiing at Purgatory Resort. In the summer, they enjoy fly fishing along the Animas River and throughout the surrounding area.
